Doug's recent paintings have been included in exhibitions at the Allied Artists of America, the Butler Museum of American Art, and multiple shows at the Salmagundi Club. His landscapes were recently awarded a grant by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and won the Kaplan Family Award at the Salmagundi Club's 46th Annual juried Exhibition.
Doug's illustrative work has been included in exhibitions at The Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, San Diego Comic-Con, Star Wars Celebration, and Fan Expo Boston. It has also been featured in print for Star Wars Art: Illustration Limited Edition by Abrams Books (curated by George Lucas and J.W. Rinzler), Star Wars Insider, ImagineFX Magazine's "The Art of Film," The New York Times Book Review, Wind-Up Records, Workstyle Magazine, The Independent (NY), The Deal Magazine, Heavy Metal (Kevin Eastman's illustration magazine), Lucasfilm, the Topps Company, and others.
Doug has a BFA from Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY) and is originally from Massachusetts.
